At Dr. Aimee Skelton’s orthodontic practice, you will find a staff family excited to get to know you and make each visit an enjoyable experience. Our highly trained team strives to provide energetic and friendly service, and each member of our treatment team is a registered orthodontic assistant. Our staff has many years of experience treating patients with top-notch care. Not only do we provide a fun, personal orthodontic experience, we also keep our training up to speed with the latest technological advances through regular education courses and seminars.

Treatment Coordinator/Financial Coordinator
Sherrie is a Fort Payne High School graduate, and has been with Dr. Skelton since 2006.
Outside the office, Sherrie loves to hang out with her husband Jeff and their grown children, Jesi, twins Josh and Jordan, daughter in law Emily, and especially her grandson Grayden. Besides her kids, she also loves her little Yorkie named Gabbi.Sherrie is a fan of adventures at the lake with her friends and family, and she loves to shop. The best parts of her job: “Meeting new people and seeing the beautiful smiles after the braces are removed!”
Another longtime team member, Julie has worked for Dr. Skelton’s practice since 2003, after earning her Academy of Orthodontic Assisting certification.She loves to hang out with her two kids, Ethan and Emma, and at work, she really enjoys interacting with the kids who come to see Dr. Skelton. “I love being able to make them smile when they have had a bad day!” she says.

A Geraldine native and graduate of Geraldine High School, Johnnie Marie has been at Dr. Skelton’s practice since 2005, after receiving her certification from the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting.She loves being a mom to her son Lane and her miniature dachshund Bama. Johnnie also loves hanging out with her friends and family. Her hobbies include shopping, dining at her favorite restaurants, and working out, though she loves coming to work just about the same!
Jaima is a Plainview graduate who has been working for Dr. Aimee Skelton since the summer of 2006. She is Academy of Orthodontic Assisting certified and possesses a Certified Dental Assistant Degree from Northeast State Community College.When she’s not helping Dr. Skelton with orthodontic treatments, Jaima enjoys hanging out with her two sons, Dakota and Josh, especially if it involves camping or riding 4-wheelers. Besides her own family, Jaima enjoys the family atmosphere of the Skelton Orthodontic team.
Lisa, a graduate of Sylvania High School, has been a part of the Skelton Orthodontics family since May 2007. Lisa obtained her Academy of Orthodontic Assisting certification in the summer of 2007.She and her husband, Dale, have one son, Ethan. Lisa’s favorite thing to do is spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and son. Lisa’s favorite part about working at Skelton Orthodontics is “seeing all the smiling faces!”
Amey is a graduate of Douglas High School. Not only has she earned her Certified Dental Assistant Degree from Northeast State Community College, but she is also certified by the Academy of Orthodontic Assistants.Amey and her husband Fabian love having family adventures with their daughter Lexi. Amey’s favorite activities include hiking, canoeing, riding horses, and enjoying farm life. Amey’s favorite part about working at Skelton Orthodontics is “working with all of the great patients!”
Brittany received her Associates in Applied Science for dental assisting from Calhoun Community College in 2014, and she is certified through the Dental Assisting National Board!When she isn’t making our patients laugh, Brittany enjoys working out and living a healthy lifestyle. She loves being part of the Skelton Orthodontics family, where she helps patients achieve beautiful smiles.
Teresa has been with Dr. Aimee Skelton since June of 2003. She loves getting to know new patients and really enjoys watching the progression of their new smiles from start to finish. When she’s not busy behind the counter at the office, Teresa loves to spend time outdoors, especially with her husband Barry, daughter Hilary and stepson Hunter.
A graduate of both Valley Head High School and Jacksonville State University, Ashley has also earned a certification from the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting.When she isn’t answering phone calls or scheduling appointments, Ashley enjoys playing basketball and making crafts with her husband Jim and their daughters Avery, Abigail, and Lennan. Her favorite part about working at Skelton Orthodontics is “interacting with all our patients and their families.”
Angel graduated from Valley Head High School and earned an Associates of Dental Assisting degree from Chattanooga State University. She also earned her Academy of Orthodontic Assisting certification while being a part of the Skelton Orthodontics’ team.Angel loves riding 4-wheelers and spending time on the river, especially with her husband Josh, daughter Kynlee, and her stepson Dawson. Angel really enjoys working at Skelton Orthodontics because “everyone always has a smile on their face!”
A graduate of Valley Head High School, Arely also recently earned a Dental Assisting certification. She enjoys traveling for fun and spending time with her family, especially her son Alex!The newest member of the Skelton Orthodontics’ family, Arely loves to meet new patients and get them excited about getting braces!
Bryna graduated from Sylvania High School and has been with the Skelton Orthodontics team for five years! She is certified by the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting! Bryna loves being part of the Skelton Orthodontics team and contributing to the beautiful smiles Dr. Skelton creates.On the weekends, Bryna loves to spend time with her husband Andrew and their baby boy Elijah.
A graduate of Sylvania High School, Madison has earned her Academy of Orthodontic Assisting Certification. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Garrett and daughter, Gracelynn on their farm. Madison loves being part of the Skelton Orthodontics team and helping patients become confident in their smiles.
